Why one rank check is not enough
Google Maps ranks businesses differently depending on where the person searching is. A check from your own shop shows how you rank on your doorstep, not two streets away, where most of your customers live.
This checker searches from 25 points in a grid within 2.5 km, so you see where you show up and where a competitor takes your place.
What you get
- A map with your Google Maps rank at every point of the grid
- How many points you are in the top 3, and where you drop out
- Your strongest competitor for that search
The map is free. Leave your email to unlock the full result: every competitor, every point you lose and what to work on first. You also get the link by email.

One check is a snapshot. With a free account you get 250 credits a month to run scans yourself, with more keywords and a bigger grid.
If you want the same grid scanned every week without thinking about it, the Local plan does that from €19 a month. See all plans.
What it does not tell you
- It measures one keyword at one moment. Rankings move during the day and the week.
- What one person sees can differ, because their device, account and history also play a part.
- It shows where you rank, not why. Nobody can promise you a ranking, and neither do we.
For how grid tracking works and how to read the map, see geo-grid rank tracking, explained.
