Who is responsible

AnswerGround is a trade name of the sole proprietorship Murm sales, Herenstraat 83 A, 2313 AG Leiden, KVK 99702738. Murm sales is the controller for the data described here. Questions: info@answerground.nl.

What we store

Your email address and a password hash, for signing in. The sites, competitors and prompts you enter. Scan results: engine, prompt, answer snippet and cited URLs. Payment details are held by Stripe; we store only Stripe’s customer and subscription identifiers.

The free check

The free check on the home page stores the domain and the category you enter, the result, and a hash of your IP address. The hash is used only to limit the number of checks per day; the IP address itself is never stored.

Your email address is stored only when you enter it to unlock the full result. It is not added to a newsletter.

Where, and who processes it

Data is stored in the European Union (eu-west-1) with Supabase as database provider.

These processors handle data for AnswerGround. Supabase: database and sign-in, in the EU. OpenAI and Perplexity: they receive the text of prompts in order to answer them, including the questions of the free check, and are outside the EU; no name or email address is sent along. Cloudflare: serves this site and sees your IP address in doing so. Stripe: processes payments.

What we do not do

We do not install anything on your website, do not track its visitors, and do not sell or share data beyond the processors named here.

Your rights

You can export or delete your workspace from Account. For access, correction or erasure requests, email info@answerground.nl.

If you disagree with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
