Connect Claude or ChatGPT to AnswerGround

In your assistant, add a connector with this address:

https://answerground.com/mcp

https://answerground.nl/mcp works as well. Both reach the same account.

The assistant then opens AnswerGround in your browser. Sign in if asked, check the name of the app and choose Approve.

In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector with the address above.

Custom connectors work on Claude's Free plan (one connector) and on Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner adds the connector first. As stated by Anthropic on 22 September 2026.

In ChatGPT, turn on developer mode, then add a connector with the address above.

Developer mode is available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu, and on the web only. As stated by OpenAI on 22 September 2026.

The connection is read-only. The assistant can use these tools and nothing else:

• List my businesses
• List my scans
• Rank at every grid point
• Share of local voice
• Competitors ahead of me
• Changes between two scans
• My AI checks
• Credits left

It cannot start scans, spend credits or change anything, and reading costs no credits. Scans in Test Mode are labelled as sample data.

A connection lasts 90 days from the moment you approve it. After that, connect again from your assistant. Settings shows the date for each connection.

Disconnect an assistant under Settings → Connected assistants, or remove the connector in the assistant itself. Changing your password disconnects every assistant. If that fails, you see a message and can disconnect them in Settings.

Other connectors in the same chat can see what this one returns. Keep that in mind before you add AnswerGround to a chat that also uses tools you do not trust.
